I can't believe that we funded at nearly $49,000 Canadian cheddah bombs. Like... What? I don't even really understand what that means yet, but I can tell you that I am rattled and humbled. So, thank you. This has been an incredible adventure and I literally cannot wait to jump into the second half of this campaign... fulfillment. Sending out the goods and then, hopefully, watching as you guys open them on your socials. I wanna do stitches watching you open them!!! To that end, I'm going to throw something pretty special in there... so keep your eyeballs peeled. :P
In the meantime, I'm taking a tiny break to breathe for the first time in three months. It's been an absurd amount of work to put this campaign together, and I'm not even close to done yet. But I think... I've earned a break?? It feels like a crime to say that. But I'm DOING IT.
To celebrate, I picked some of the apples from our trees in the back yard. They're EXPLODING with fruit this year, which is so cool because my daughter, Danger Danvers, is currently obsessed with apples. The trees were there when we moved in 10 years ago, so I have no idea what kinds of apples we have. Only that there are two clearly different types. The left tree has pretty sour apples, and the right tree are super red, and super sweet. And to pay us back for picking the apples, Danger just got stung by a wasp. So now I spent my afternoon monitoring my almost-two year old for signs of an allergic reaction. Exciting, aren't I?
Anyway. Thank you for an incredibly successful campaign. I'm totally blown away and I can't wait to put these special edition collector's editions in your hands.

And then I get to work on the art, map, and getting the finished product to the printer! I'll be keeping everyone updated about my progress as we move along, and if we need to pivot for any reason, I intend to be upfront about it. But that's the beauty of this platform! We're doing something unique together, and sometimes shit just happens. But I'm a pretty creative cookie, so I'll work through it like the boss-ass bitch I am.

Not only did we completely sell out of all 50 copies of M.D. Pentacles' The Hunt: Books I-V (the original edition of this series before it became The Feral Court) in a few short hours (don't worry; I added more), but I woke up this morning to find this campaign has funded all the way up to 40k??? Which means we're officially putting gold foiling on these books, on top of the super luxe sprayed edges. What is happening right now? I cannot believe how supportive you guys have been, and I'm seriously just rattled to my core.
Also, my mum called me this morning in a tizzy. "Myra?? There's someone in your Facebook group claiming you stole their book?? This M.D. Pentacles woman is accusing you of stealing The Feral Court?!"
hahaha Yeah, mum. I know. That filthy little wench won't stay in the cage I keep her in. But yeah, just in case anyone else was confused and rattled, M.D. and Myra share the same meat-suit. They've been fighting for dominance over me for decades, and there are no amount of spells or rituals that'll get either one of 'em out. So we've all learned to live and work together... ;P

In these final hours, I expect things to be even more crazy than they've been for the last two weeks, but I also want to thank you for sticking with me.
